Yummy and fresh homemade dumplings, all varieties are good. The soup is healthy too. People always line up before they open, I would suggest to take out if you can.

It's located 3-min walk away from the other famous dumpling restaurant 美味餃子店. One would compare the food that's what I am there for today. Much to my surprise it is an even smaller shop that 美味, run by several ladies who are polite. I tried their leek dumplings in soup. The soup is made with coconut, sea tangle, pork bone and chicken which is really scrumptious. This has a slight edge over 美味. Another edge of 豐信 is they offer a variety of local snacks / sides. Ordered tossed jelly fish, well, it's ok I can say it's value for money. The spicy seasoned radish is alright but 美味 is better for theirs are larger and more juicy. Okay talking about the main, the leek dumplings, rich and packed in ingredients, plenty of leek and meat, nicely wrapped, rich in flavour and yummy. But simply talking about leek dumplings 美味 is slightly better in the seasoning. Overall speaking it is above par. Will try again to see the quality of other dumplings and dishes.

🍽️ Today, I want to share with you a hidden gem that holds a special place in my heart – Fung Shun Dumpling Shop in Prince Edward! I've been a regular here for months, and I can confidently say that it has never disappoints. 💥 Picture this: you step into the cozy eatery, greeted by the irresistible aroma of freshly cooked dumplings. Fung Shun Dumpling Shop offers a variety of flavors, but this time, I couldn't resist indulging in their legendary Pork with Cheese Corn Dumplings. The combination of succulent pork, savory cheese, and sweet corn is a match made in culinary heaven. 🌟 When it comes to portion sizes, you're faced with a tempting choice: a tantalizing 7-piece serving or a generous 10-piece portion. Resisting the urge to order more can be a struggle, but I highly recommend going all out and opting for the 10-piece portion – trust me, you won't regret it. 🍜 To elevate your dumpling experience, imagine a piping hot bowl of Chicken & Pork Bone Soup with Coconut & Sea Tangle as the perfect accompaniment. The combination of rich, savory flavors will have you eagerly slurping every last drop. What makes it even better is that Fung Shun Dumpling Shop takes pride in not adding any MSG, ensuring pure culinary bliss. ✨ I have to warn you, though – this place is so incredible that it draws a crowd no matter the time of day. But don't let that deter you! The wait is absolutely worth it. As the shop is small, you'll likely be sharing a table with other enthusiastic dumpling aficionados, creating a lively and social dining experience.

There are various dumplings to choose from. The filling are fresh of course, but the dough is a bit soft to my taste. I chose mala pakchoi and chives for soup dumplings, on the other hand, cheesy corn and cabbage for fried dumplings. My favourite is mala pakchoi because it is spicy and flavourful, and most importantly it is not a common flavour among the dumpling shops in hk. Fried dumplings are a bit greasy and the paper underneath has soaked completely with oil. Cheesy corn is a bit disappointing as the corn isn’t juicy and not cheesy to my taste.

It is quite popular as i could see on the social media and always a queue outside, so i gotta a try today. Arrived before 6pm still had no luck to get in. Waited for 20mins. I had a pan fried dumpling but soon realized the shop (and myself) did terrible mathematics! For the soup dumplings it’s simple and straight forward; then when got to the fried dumplings, first i had to add an extra $16 for it, but then it didn’t come with the soup, which is free to go with the soup-based dumplings, so i added another extra $15 for it, means to have pan fried dumplings and expected equal deal it’s $31 more. Then i noticed i made a really bad choice. The soup came first, it’s very good, without MSG as claimed. The dumplings were not bad too, but till the end of it, the oil became very visible and flooded at the bottom. There was spicy sides, but they’re chopped far too tiny, hard to grab and looked like some leftover only. The place was very small too, people sat super closed with strangers. Overall not a pleasant meal. Probably won’t come again. PS. Staff cant speak eng, only by pointing photos.

The dumplings are a good size for the price. The soup dumplings were quite nice and the fried dumplings were good as well but I didn't really like the salted egg yolk topping. I saw it being recommended on social media but personally, I felt that it was too greasy and heavy when paired with the dumplings. Simple is best!

It operates akin to the mom-and-pop restaurant, in fact, it's owned by the owner of the cloth shop nearby. This does not affect its quality. Its dumpling and long-time stewed soup entice many foodies to visit this restaurant. Recommend to add some spicy minced radish to enhance the dumplings’ flavour. The ingredients are fresh and 7 pieces of dumpling are adequate for one single lady. The sour and spicy soup is a bit salty and the thousand-years eggs need much improvement as the eggs' flavour is tasteless. Wish I would have the opportunity to try another signature dish: pan-fried dumplings served with salty egg-yolk sauce later.

Honey lime was refreshing and cooling, with strong lime taste. Citrus in honey was sweet and clear, with strong honey taste. Braised sweet soy egg - Braised egg was smooth and sweet, absorbing the essence of the sweet and soy sauce. Tossed jelly fish in sauce - Jelly fish was chewy and crunchy, juicy as well. We ordered a mixture of both pork with leek and pork with hot spicy dumplings in soup. We topped up $10 for their hot and sour soup base. Soup was very spicy and sour, perfect for spicy lovers. The skin of the dumplings was not too thick and the pork fillings inside was juicy and chewy. We ordered a mixture of both fried pork with shepherd's purse and water chestnut and pork with parsley dumplings, with salted egg yolk added on top. For salted egg yolk lovers, this was paradise. Alot of salted egg yolk was added on top of it, making it very flavourful. Dumplings were pan fried till crispy and the fillings inside were juicy, with alot of ingredients in it.
